The Fraternal Chronicle is a monthly print-only newspaper. Because we believe in the permanence of the printed word and the historical record of fraternalism, we adhere to the following ethical pillars:

1. Editorial Independence

Our news coverage is strictly independent. While we value our paid advertisers, their support does not grant influence over our reporting. We maintain a "wall" between our business operations and our editorial content to ensure our readers receive unbiased news.

2. Accuracy and Verification

As a physical publication, we do not have the luxury of "stealth edits." We prioritize getting the facts right the first time. Every article is vetted for accuracy regarding names, dates, and fraternal history before the ink hits the paper.

3. Respect for the Craft

We report on the "outer works" of fraternalism, its community impact, governance, and history. We respect the privacy of private rituals and the internal harmony of the lodges, groves, and chapters we cover.

4. Integrity of the Record

We do not use sensationalism. Our goal is to be an archival resource for current and future generations that are interested in fraternal societies. We use traditional photography and clear attribution for all contributors who are not Fraternal Chronicle staff members.

May 2026, Volume 1 Issue 9, Fraternal Chronicle. A trial began in Paris, France on Monday, March 30, involving near- ly two dozen defendants accused of operating a “criminal services agency” embedded within a Masonic lodge. French prosecutors allege that members of the Athanor Lodge recruited hitmen from the French intelligence and military communities to carry out contract killings and private vendettas. In the April issue we reported on the vandal- ism of Oleeta-West Dade Lodge in Miami Springs, Florida. As promised, we have followed this case and we are pleased to make this updated report. The fraternal community is closely monitoring the legal developments following the early March, 2026, vandalism of the Oleeta-West Dade Masonic Center. What began as an early morning attack on a local Masonic Lodge has moved into the Miami-Dade County court system as Case No. F-26-005213. Surveillance cameras at the lodge, located at 145 S. Royal Poinciana Blvd., captured an individual jumping a perimeter fence and scaling the building's exterior. Once atop an overhang, the suspect was filmed tearing down and defacing two large Masonic emblems, resulting in an estimated $3,000 in damag- es to the property.
